These are new sealed MSA Chemical/Biological/Radiological/Nuclear/ (CBRN) replacement screw-on canister/cartridges with the 40mm NATO thread.
This is the most universal standard filter designed used by militaries all over the world.
These are factory sealed in a aluminum bag. Some will come in a cardboard box and others will not. These bags have a pre-started tear (from MSA) in their bag so you can easily open them while wearing PPE and gloves.
EXPIRED but still sealed and better and newer than 95% of surplus filters.
