This is the complete USGI MSS ( Modular Sleeping System) Sleeping Bag Kit.
Designed to keep soldiers alive for up to 6 hours in -30 degree temperatures.
Each bag can be used separately or they snap together for easier combined usage.
This comes with the OD Patrol Bag, Black Intermediate Bag, Woodland Camo Goretex Bivy and Black Compression Bag.
Patrol Bag is rated to 30 degrees.
Intermediate Bag is rated to -10 degrees.
Goretex bivy is rated to approx. 55 degrees.
Compression Bag will fit all pieces to the MSS perfectly.
Complete system weighs about 10lbs.
